This Oatlands project features a contemporary pool complemented by an elevated spa, thoughtfully designed to suit the raised backyard and maximise views from the home. The pool’s light blue pebble interior reflects light beautifully, while the custom DropEdge coping and curved submerged seating create a refined, functional layout. Integrated water bubblers and massage jets add a sense of movement and comfort, turning the pool into both a social and therapeutic space.
Curved submerged steps and a seating ledge enhance accessibility and relaxation, with natural stone coping following the gentle radii of the pool for a seamless, high-quality finish. LED lighting integrated throughout the pool and spa provides a dramatic nighttime effect, allowing the clients to enjoy the water and backyard well into the evening.

Client Vision
The client’s backyard was raised, so an elevated spa was introduced to accentuate the pool and create a layered design. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the home allow the pool to be enjoyed from inside, particularly at night when LED lighting transforms the water into a luminous, inviting feature.
The brief focused on blending functionality, and visual elegance, resulting in a pool and spa that feel both luxurious and approachable, while seamlessly connecting the backyard to the home’s architecture.
